SHORT TOUR OF PRAGUE 2, Kampa, Mala Strana and Castle (2 hours)
Kampa Island – Infant of Prague – Mala Strana – Nerudova – Castle
We start our tour nearby Charles Bridge more precisely at Kampa Island. Furrowed by Certovka (the so-called ‘Devil’s Stream’), Kampa is a small nucleus which contains hidden gardens, mills and legends. By crossing a beautiful park we arrive to the Church of Our Lady Victorious, a pilgrimage place for thousands of people who come here every year to worship the Infant of Prague.
We continue our journey towards Malostranske namesti (Lesser Town) that is the main square of the district dominated by the magnificent and imposing St. Nicolas Basilica that is the most famous example of Prague Baroque. Here our way to the castle starts through the Nerudova Street.
The tour is ending at the Prague castle, a huge architectural complex that encompasses a variety of styles and more than a thousand years of history.
