Wenceslas Square – Powder – Old Town – Astronomical Clock – Jewish quarter – Charles Bridge
We cross Wenceslas Square, the place that witnessed fundamental events of recent history and which leads us to the famous Old Town. Walking near The Estates Theatre that is indelibly linked to the name of Mozart, we get to the Powder Gate (Prasna Brana). From here we continue on the royal road where in the past for marches for the coronation of kings and emperors took place over centuries. At the end of the road we arrive to the heart of Prague – Staromestske Namesti (Old Town Square). Among the various monuments that we encounter here are: the astronomical clock, the Gothic Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn.
We continue through the Paris street one of the most elegant avenues in Prague and arrive to the Jewish quarter where, among the sumptuous palaces built in the last century, the ancient synagogues and the cemetery remind us of the past times of ghetto. The last part of our tour includes Karlova Street, a continuation of the royal road along which we reach Charles Bridge.
