The Prague Metro consists of 3 lines: A B C .

The LINE A is characterized by the color GREEN and is made up of 17 stops. It is possible to change with the Line B (yellow) at the Mustek stop and with the line C (red) at the next stop Muzeum.

The LINE B is distinguished by the color YELLOW and is the longest, consisting of 24 stops. It is possible to change with the LINE A (green) at the Mustek stop and with the line C (red) at the Florenc stop.

The LINE C is characterized by the color RED and is made up of 20 stops. It is possible to change with the line B (yellow) at the Florenc stop and with the line A (green) at the Muzeum stop.

Metro tickets

To take the Prague metro you need to have a ticket, although the metro is not equipped with turnstiles like the main subways.

There are 3 different types of tickets (all valid for both metro, bus and tram):

Standard: it is valid for 90 minutes at a cost of 1.24 € / 32 CZK and also gives the possibility to travel on trams, buses, the Petřín funicular and the Prague Zoo chairlift, always within 90 minutes.

Short: it is valid for 30 minutes at a cost of € 0.93 / 24 CZK.

Tourist: there are valid 1 day (4,26 €/110 CZK) and 3 days (12 €/310 CZK)
